Today saw Tigers 1 meet Kingfisher again. Last time the two teams met, Kingfisher won by a convincing amount so Tigers were ready to win the return fixture.
Missing the captain today, meant divisions had to change slightly - nothing that phased any of the players. The first half saw the teams goal for goal until Kingfisher started to pull ahead. Just before half-time, Tigers scored some absolute bangers to finish the half 11-9 to them.
After a well needed pep talk from coach Liv, Tigers came out with a fire in their bellies. Tigers showed composure and patience, creating some awesome opportunities and scoring some unbelievable goals. A fantastic shift from everyone today saw all starting players make the score sheet again! The game finished 27-22 in favour of Tigers
Special mention goes to Alf for some well deserved goals at crucial times allowing Tigers to keep cool in an intense game!
