Tigers 2 continued their strong form this season with a win over Bearsted 2.
As the second half of the season got under way, Tigers 2 were hoping to solidify their position in the top half of the table and welcomed Bearsted 2 to the Perse. After a strong start from the visitors, scoring 3 unanswered goals in quick succession, Tigers warmed up to put together a string of scores to eke out a fairly comfortable lead. Half-time score - 15-8. This lead allowed Tigers to play a bit more expansively in the third quarter before taking control of possession in the closing stages. An evenly matched 8-8 second half resulted in a 23-15 victory for Tigers.
A couple of weeks off to rest their paws before the local derby against Cambridge City on the 17th!
