Tigers 2 faced up against local derby rivals Cambridge City this weekend!
A strong team bolstered by an experienced bench came out on top with a 22-11 victory. The first-half was a very close and low scoring affair with good defence from both sides. Scoring was largely limited to penalties and free passes as a result of defensive errors. 9-7 to Tigers at the break. In the third quarter Tigers managed to ease into a strong lead and then with solid game management in the final quarter, ended with a comfortable win! Hotshot Joseph ended with a whopping 8 goals and was ably supported by the rest of the team, including some fine shooting from Georgia, Dutchie and Daisy!
The annual trip up the A11 to Norwich beckons next weekend as Tigers 2 play Norwich Knights!
