After last week’s match against Bearsted 2, this week it was time to face their first team.
The first half went rather like last game with very few goals scored and both teams focused on defence, and a half-time score of 4 – 5 to Bearsted.
For much of the second half Tigers managed to keep the opponent close, to within two goals, but the last 15 mins proved decisive with Bearsted pulling away to win 18 – 13. The Tiger scoresheet was spectacularly even with five players at two goals and Sophie scoring 3.
