Tigers faced National League runners up, Tornadoes. Over recent seasons, Tornadoes have stepped up and proved themselves in the league so Tigers knew it would be a tough game. The match got off to a close start, going backwards and forwards between the two teams forcing Tornadoes to take a quick timeout.
Unfortunately, following the timeout, Tornadoes began to regain some flow in their attack which Tigers just couldn’t stop. Tigers kept their heads up but couldn’t catch up in the first half. The half time score saw Tigers trailing by six.
The second half saw Tigers coming out all guns blazing, with coach Liv reminding them to play their own game and have fun. Some unbelievable shooting from the team kept Tigers in the game. Tornadoes continued to stay strong in both attack and defence, making Tigers work for every goal.
A well fought game from both teams ended with Tornadoes winning 34-22. Although we didn’t get the win, it was a great team performance all round! 🐯🧡🖤
