We are delighted to have a full squad of Tigers this year for the U14NL.
We kicked off against a very evenly matched City/Vikings CKA team. Half time saw us 2-0 up, but with not much between the teams at all. CKA managed find their shooting groove and pulled back a couple of goals in the second half, We pulled away again to 4-2, but in the last quarter, they upped their game and punished us as the tiredness set in and concentration started to lapse a little, ending in a well deserved 4-4 draw. Bring on the December rematch!!
After a well earned rest, we put everything we had learned from the first game into practice against a fairly novice Milton Keynes - 8-0 at half time turned into a comfortable 17-4 win. Almost the entire squad were on the scoresheet, with really solid defending and attacking all round. Lovely to see the integration of the older and younger players working so well.
