Senior training and matches take place at the premier korfball venue in Cambridgeshire, the Perse Upper School:
The Perse Upper School
From the M11: Exit at Junction 11 (north or southbound). Take the A1309 into Cambridge. After approximately 1.5 miles turn right at a main set of traffic lights into Long Road (A1134) towards Addenbrookes Hospital. Continue to the next major crossroads. Turn left into Hills Road and then straight on for approximately 250 metres. The Perse School Upper is on your left-hand side just and clearly identifiable by its big metal gates.
Follow the road round to the left where there is a car park. As you exit the car park on foot turn left to walk up past a large astro pitch and find the sports centre at the end of the path.
General Club Training
Club training starts at 19:30 and is for all members of the senior club. It typically involves approximately 45 minutes on technical and athletic skills and 30 minutes on tactics/gameplay.
Advanced sessions start at 20:45 and is for players in the 1st and 2nd team as well as other invited individuals. The aim of advanced training is to give SERL players more intense and challenging training, in preparation for their games in the SERL and CKA division 1.
Junior training takes place at Chesterton Community College Sports Centre:
Chesterton Sports Centre
All age groups in Tigers junior section train from 4-5pm every Sunday during term time. Tiggers train for 45 minutes and then sit together and have a drink and watch the older children play a game.
From A14: Take the Histon turn off. Follow directions to Cambridge City Centre (Cambridge Road). Carry on over first set of traffic lights onto Histon Road. Turn left onto Gilbert Road. Continue over first set of traffic lights. Just before pedestrian crossing, turn right into Chesterton Community College. Once in the school grounds, take the first left into the car park. Parking is free.
